Think there’s only so much you can do with your make-up? Well, think again because we’ve scoured the globe, sorting through gallery after gallery, runway report after runway report, make-up tutorial after make-up tutorial (not complaining), and we’ve found the three most flattering and do-able make-up trends to try this summer.

Ahead, three trends to try and a whole bunch of ideas to replicate.

Designer liner

Bright, bold eyeliner is a huge trend this season. We love it because it’s just so doable. Keep it subtle with muted tones of gold, smudged kohl or pastel tones. Or go for a more daring shades: bright white, fuchsia or shades of citrus.

Bold and naked

We’re crazy for a bold lip – it’s a look that never goes out of style. What’s different in 2017? It’s paired with nothing. Naked faces and bright lips – particularly ruby red – have been a staple for make-up artists this season, in gloss, matte or satin finishes.

Dewy (not sweaty) skin

Glowing skin is all about the base. Choose your favourite highlighting product and go for it. An illuminating tinted moisturiser (we love this one), highlighter, powder or bronzer will do the trick, but apply carefully: cheek bones, brow bones and the inner corner of the eye.
