Gwyneth Paltrow’s Tribeca apartment is, lets be honest, exactly what you’d expect from the clean-living, multi-talented, uber-stylish actress. Modern, confident and layered.
The simple colour palette is textured to perfection: pastel silks, embroidered wallpapers and cool marble are throughout, giving the spaces depth and soaking them in style.
Photographed for Gwyneth’s lifestyle website GOOP, the New York apartment was designed by Roman and Williams, a powerhouse couple with (obviously) impeccable style. It’s where Gwyneth lived with her family before uncoupling and relocating to LA, so it was designed with family in mind…
The swing made from an antique Indian door in the living room is for reading to and playing with kids. The gigantic bed in the master bedroom (so enormous that sheets had to be custom-made) was designed so every last family member can sit together on it, cousins and pets included. Now that the family in question is solidly based in LA, the apartment is for sale – giving us a chance to finally see it.
